"Bored Operator is the solo project created by Chase Ruel during the pandemic. When they couldn't practice or play shows, they started recording and producing music on their own. This allowed them to stray from their noise rock and hardcore roots, and focus on pop structures, more intimate and personal song topics, electronics, samples and eclectic production techniques.

After the release of their debut record "just an act", Chase recruited members of the local post hardcore band "Animal Hospital". With members Alex, Derek and Dan, they form the live act that transforms the intimate, electronic and meditative recorded tracks into energetic, noisey and powerful live performances."Â
